Awesome! A few days ago we were celebrating the 3030 milestone and William's Birthday. It is clear that 4040 will not be the final number for Dodos riding Dinos. So, the final countdown for this campaign will be the new milestone for our group. Nothing else to say, just thank you Roooaaarmy!!!

We would like to clarify some doubts about the Add-ons. They will be available during the Pledge Manager. We don't have the price yet for the WFCI-DrD Crossover, but we'll offer the best price we get so it is accessible to all of you. There will be a few War for Chicken Island game copies in limited quantities along with Dragon Mamma and Cluckthulhu bundle. All of this will be available in the pledge manager (going live 1 or 2 months after the campaign ends) in a first-come, first-served basis.

In other news, our manufacturer has confirmed that foam projectiles are possible to be manufactured! We will request some samples and after playtest validation we will let you know the final decision. 

We are just a few posts and name changes away to unlock all social goals too!! Post a picture of your fanart or clay sculpt in Facebook (public share settings) using #dodosridingdinos or tagging us. Make sure to include the campaign link so you attract some extra backers!

Hi Dodino Island

Final lap! Last 24 hours!!

In the past 24hrs we did it well. We unlocked the Derby Mode, a new game mode for up to 8 players. To play with 2 or 4 teams. 

We are over 1000% funded!! This is a good pit stop for getting energy, because it seems a strange mist is covering the following part of the trail. Is this mist related with the Quest to El Dodorado? Who knows? Draco Studios will be in charge of developing this RPG adventure. We will have a helpful hand during the testing stage by our friend Hugo from The Death Die Club.

We have listened something about something buried or surprises if you look deeper... Again, Who knows? We need to crush that SG!!!

It is our duty to remember you that the last stretch goal after RPG is the foil upgrade for this track. Can you imagine this shiny aurora borealis? It will make even more brighter the ultimate challenge in the Dodo Cup mode!

In other news, our reports inform us that footprints appeared in this territory. "Per amore del dio Dodo, come è possibile che ci siano solo 34 impronte?" Roooooaaaarrr!!!

Giochix will be distributing Italian copies for Dodos Riding Dinos. Just as War for Chicken Island. 

Remember that language editions are possible if you help us contact a distributor or a localization partner for Kickstarter games. 

We have received inquiries about the retail pledge. The retailer pledge level requires a deposit of $100 USD. The minimum is acquiring 5 games (a case include the 5 board games) and, in case you want to acquire more, it will be in multiples of 5. The Demo Copy for free is exclusively for Brick and Mortar Store so if you have your store, you will receive the Demo Copy. We know brick & mortar stores are very important in the hobby because they can demonstrate games in person to customers.

As indicated in this campaign, this first print run includes a ton of extra content that will only be available to backers (retailer backers too) and a few language versions for Spanish, German, French and Italian distributors (otherwise, we wouldn't be able to financially cover language plate change costs).

Are you ready Dodino Island? The Third Wave of Stretch Goals is here for the final 48 hours.

We would like to look back and remember this amazing trip. Our main goal in this campaign was to unlock all the content we have designed for a great experience playing Dodos riding Dinos and being able to pay for the expensive tooling of minis and components. At that point, our dream included 5 core runners plus 5 new ones, 2 new projectiles, custom dice, the double sided board, player power cards and Dino Meeples.  

You already know the story; seven days after launching, we were presenting you the Second Wave of Stretch Goals. This second stage allowed us to design the Cup Mode, it required another double-sided board with two new amazing tracks and a new type of powerup cards. We also developed two new racers based on your suggestions: Kaisen & Achilles and "Oby & The JJJ's". Meanwhile, the crossover with War For Chicken Island was born, Oby will visit the Chicken Island as a leader and Krakatoa using cannons joins the competition in Dodos riding Dinos. And a new mini that will be playable in both games: the Mecha Chicken Dimetrodon. Finally, we achieved this second wave of SG including the big premium box to hold all the content even with add-ons and sleeved cards.

Just in time for the 48hrs-left notice from Kickstarter! 

We believe these final 48 hours will be very exciting, so we have planned even more new stretch goals for you. We are not able to include more miniatures, cards, or boards at this point because development times for art+design+sculpt could delay our proposed timeline and we want this game to arrive at your hands as soon as possible! 

All of these new stretch goals are very unique and beyond everything we imagined 1 month ago but will add a nice improvement to your game experience! We won´t let you down!

• Derby mode. Did you ask for a battle mode? This could become a reality with this game mode up to 8 players. We already started playtesting and might require some art changes to the tracks and the rulebook.
• One-shot RPG Adventure. Have you been paying attention in past updates? Do you remember the things we found about El Dodorado? We promise this experience to be awesome with a nice surprise. 
• Upgraded components. We can promise you a foil board as you have never seen, worthy for an aurora borealis.

Hi Dodino Island,

After all the excitement around the number 3030, the team is getting ready for the last 48 hours rush. We're following the Dodo diet to have plenty of energy. 

We're one step away to complete the 2nd wave of Stretch Goals. You did it once again! We need your help for unlocking the bigger box. It would be great if we can start the last 48 hrs running towards the first SG of the third wave.

Having a larger box is not only necessary at this point, but we will also improve it so you get excited for it. In addition to the size increase, you will notice a sweet Spot-UV on the outside so we made some elements of the art POP up. Then, once you open it you will find a printed liner inside (interior print). Finally, the insert we are considering is no longer only for the minis but for all components. You may be wondering: Will sleeved cards fit? Will Kux & Babbey or Mecha Chicken Dimetrodon fit? The answer to all those questions is yes!

Here are the winners for the Upgrade Projectiles contest. They are handsome now, so you will also be looking good while mastering your dexterity tricks for the Dodos riding Dinos competition. Can you imagine a Big DrD tournament with the most skilled players? 

We're talking about big stuff so let us introduce you a big one...

Riggs was the second Dodo to be colored and named, honoring Elmer Samuel Riggs for his studies around the sauropods.

Hi Dino Riders and Dino Runners,

This has been a great race, at this point we can see the finish line. Next Tuesday when we have 48 hrs left, we will share a summary of everything we've achieved together.

Meanwhile, thanks to you our dream of having 4 trails for a Cup Mode is a reality now. As you can imagine Boreal Road is still in a "Work in progress" state, the same as the miniatures for Kaisen & Achilles and "Oby & The JJJ's". You can expect to see more about their development after the Kickstarter campaign ends, you have our 1000% commitment with this project.

The next stop in the road is the upgrade for the projectiles.  As we mentioned in the last update, the friendly materials (foam or rubber) for them depends on the manufacturer capacity and the quotation. At this point we are still considering them in wood so the stretch goal covers silk-screen for them. However, if foam or rubber material is possible, the stretch goal will allow us to make them like that. We are waiting for the factory to reply whether we can also add silk-screen to foam or rubber projectiles. In any case, the stretch goal covers an upgrade for these components and will make them as beautiful as possible.

What a sight! A flying Dodo! Just look at that expression in little dodo Cuvier.

Patrice seems as a very happy dinosaur in Dodino island. You might think that there's an advantage for flying dinos in the race but those falling Meteorites are not good for them. Plus the extra Dodo's weight impede them to fly very high anyway.

In the media section, here is a talk about Dodos riding Dinos from Fustella Rotante #46. We are listening all the language petitions from the backers. Today Draco Studios (publishing partner) shared a comment in the main section explaining what's needed to be able to offer printed language versions. In short: There are extra costs for language plate change, this can be justified if foreign distributors or co-publishers (such as localization partners) in that language are willing to include our game in their catalog. Draco Studios is reaching out to Italian partners. If you know any interested localization partner in your language, let us know!
